Case registered against BJP MP for extortion
In the midst of ongoing election, Tuglak Road Police registered a criminal case (fir no. 37 dated April 3, 2014) for extortion, violence, trespass, criminal intimidation, criminal conspiracy etc. Under section 323/384/452/506/120B of IPC against BJP's high profile Loksabha member and candidate from Godda (Jharkhand)Nishikant Dubey and his wife Anamika Gautam alias Anukant Dubey on the instruction of Metropolitan Magistrate Mr Dheeraj Mittal of Patiala House Court under section 156 (3) of Cr.P.C..
The MM in his order stated,” I have considered the submissions made by the Ld. Counsel for the complainant and pursued the record. From the perusal of the complaint, prima facie commission of cognizable offences is made out.”
According to the complaint MP Nishikant Dubey attempted to extort Rs. 2 crores and for the purpose he along with his wife forcefully entered in his house and assaulted petitioner. Due to this development BJP may have to consider replacing its candidate from Godda as Dubey is contesting from there. |
